Project Overview

An online bookstore is a website where people can browse and buy books from the comfort of their home. People can search for a title, pick their book, and order it in minutes. No need to visit a physical store. They offer thousands of titles across every genre, making it super easy for readers to find exactly what they’re looking for.

Objective

To increase organic presence, engage more interested people & move more down the sales funnel – transforming casual visitors into paying clients.

Our Approach

Our team built a full plan to improve how the bookstore showed up in search results—every step connected to the next for results-driven success.

  • SEO Topic Research: The best keywords for book sales were low competition, high search volume, especially long-tail book and genre phrases.
  • Content Optimization: Created content for new pages, and old pages have been revamped. Every word was produced to meet technical on-page SEO goals while sounding natural.
  • Technical SEO Audit: The site had hidden problems. Fixing site speed, broken links, and structure issues gave the site a strong technical base.
  • On-Page SEO: Worked on image optimization, improved internal linking, and made every page mobile-friendly — all for a smoother user experience.
  • Off-Page SEO: This is where off page link building strategy came in. We earned real backlinks from trusted book blogs and publishing sites.
  • Monitoring & Analysis: Using conversion tracking tools like Google Analytics, we kept a close eye on what worked — and quickly fixed what didn’t.

Line graph showing views over time with a total of 651K views and 2.3M event counts, spanning from April to January.
Table showing sessions by manual source with top entries like google and m.facebook.com.
Image Data: ALT Text: Line graph showing total clicks (183K), total impressions (4.8M), average CTR (3.8%), and average position (12) over time from June 2023 to March 2024.

Results

  • Traffic Growth: Bookstore traffic increased 380% in organic growth SEO, from 1,006 daily hits to 25K+ monthly visits.
  • Keyword Rankings: The store ranked high on Google on most of the keywords – a definite victory of ecommerce books rankings boost and book sales rankings.
  • User Engagement: Time on site went up, and so did pageviews growth — readers stayed longer and explored more pages per visit.
  • ROI: More traffic meant more book sales. The results proved this was a truly ROI focused portfolio project with real business impact.
  • Technical Wins: The complete site worked better since it had a faster site speed, a clearer structure, and a better balance between on-page and off-page elements.
